What is VaultKeepR?

VaultKeepR is a decentralized password manager built on a simple principle: your vault is encrypted on your device and you hold the keys. No account, no email, no server that can read your data. Unlock the vault with passkeys, biometrics, or a PIN.

Vaults are encrypted client-side with Argon2id and XChaCha20-Poly1305, then stored as content-addressed fragments on IPFS. A registry on the Base L2 network maps your account address to your vault CID, so sync works without a central database holding your secrets.

Features:

  • Autofill and capture for logins, cards, and identities on Chrome, Firefox, iOS, and Android
  • Built-in TOTP 2FA codes, password generator, and breach checking (HIBP, k-anonymity)
  • WebAuthn passkey unlock and biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint)
  • Secure Share and Quick Share for encrypted links, notes, and files
  • Encrypted documents and photos (Premium)
  • Digital legacy: name beneficiaries and set a dead man's switch to transmit your vault if you lose access
  • Anti-phishing protection against fake dApp domains, with zero network calls from the extension
  • dApp connection dashboard and crypto-native tooling

Core packages and smart contracts are open source. Available on web, Chrome, Firefox, iOS, and Android.
