What is UseJunction?

UseJunction gives engineering teams one view of their AI coding tool usage and spend across Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cline, Continue, Roo Code, OpenCode, Ollama, LM Studio and others.

It answers four questions: which tools and models developers actually use, what that costs by developer, team, tool and model, which paid seats are idle or close to plan limits, and which devices are missing coverage or using personal keys.

Instead of routing traffic through a proxy, a lightweight Go agent on each developer machine (macOS, Linux, Windows) reads the usage data these tools already store locally. Data goes to a control plane you host yourself or use hosted. Costs are labeled as vendor-verified or estimated from rate cards, so you can tell real billing from estimates.

There's no keystroke logging, screen capture, or network interception, and each developer can see exactly what was uploaded. An optional LiteLLM and Langfuse gateway is available for teams that also want to trace raw API traffic.
