What is Untitled Minecraft Launcher?
Untitled Minecraft Launcher (UML) is a command-line Minecraft launcher for Linux, written in Rust. It's built for people who want a Minecraft launcher that can be fully used without leaving a terminal. UML handles the full launch setup, version manifest fetching, library and asset downloads, and launching the game. It also supports Microsoft/Xbox authentication for online play. It manages multiple instances with per-instance configuration, installs the Fabric mod loader, and imports Modrinth (.mrpack) modpacks and existing PrismLauncher instances. Content management lets you list, enable, disable, add, and remove mods directly from the command line, reading mod metadata to identify them by ID rather than by messy filenames.
