Good browser extension to block some websites from your search results. I use it with DuckDuckGo icon DuckDuckGo, and it allows me to block many shady, spam, or uninteresting domains.

What is uBlacklist?

Blocks sites you specify from appearing in Google search results. This extension prevents the sites you specify from appearing in Google search results.

Features:

  • Prevent blocked sites from appearing even in a moment
  • Block sites flexibly using match patterns and regular expressions
  • Support DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and Startpage.com partially
  • Synchronize blacklists among devices using Google Drive or Dropbox
  • Subscribe to public blacklists

You can add rules on search result pages, or on sites to be blocked by clicking the toolbar icon. Rules can be specified either by match patterns or by regular expressions.

You can synchronize rulesets across devices via cloud storage. At the moment, Google Drive and Dropbox are supported. You can also subscribe to public rulesets.
