U2 Secured Vault is a zero-knowledge password manager. Your master password is put through Argon2id, your vault is sealed with AES-256-GCM, and all of it happens on your device. The server stores ciphertext it cannot read: not your passwords, not your keys, not your master password.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Most vaults will store the TOTP secret for an account in the same record as its password. U2 Secured Vault deliberately does not. A password and its second factor sealed in one store are not two factors, so the second one lives in a separate free app - U2 Secured Authenticator - where unlimited codes cost nothing.
SWITCHING TAKES MINUTES
Import directly from LastPass, Bitwarden, 1Password or Chrome. Two-factor secrets found in the export are lifted out, dropped before anything is encrypted, and handed back to you as otpauth:// QR codes to scan into the authenticator of your choice - so moving in never quietly collapses both your factors into one basket.
