The latest version (0.63) works on my Lenovo X230T, but the "FAQ/Google" option in the menu calls up a fake website. This is also the case with the latest version (0.61) available from the link posted here to the "Official Website". This points to a SourceForge page containing two projects: 1. The original project whose latest version was 0.21. This is what you get when you click the "Download" button. 2. Version 0.61 of TPfancontrol2, which is not the latest. TPfancontrol2 resides on GitHub:...

- rsbrux added TPFanControl as alternative to Libre Hardware Monitor, HWMonitor, Core Temp and HWiNFO (32/64)

TPfancontrol2 resides on GitHub: [https://github.com/Shuzhengz/TPFanCtrl2](https://github.com/Shuzhengz/TPFanCtrl2) and documentation and links to other versions can be found on the ThinkPad-wiki: [https://thinkwiki.de/TPFanControl](https://thinkwiki.de/TPFanControl) The newer versions also include a "Website" link in the Windows start menu which doesn't point to any of the websites mentioned above, but to something completely irrelevant. After filing a bug report at https://github.com/Shuzhengz/TPFanCtrl2 I was informed that there are much newer versions of TPfancontrol2 that not only correct these problems but also support many additional newer PC models. These are hosted both on the previously cited github and on the github of another contributor, https://github.com/FanDjango/TPFanCtrl2. I have installed v2.3.3 on an X230T and find that it works well. The "smart" mode keeps my CPU cooler than the BIOS fan profile did. The only drawback is that the EXE files are unsigned, so a Windows warning must be overridden to install them. The ThinkPad-wiki that both github projects refer to is out of date and poorly maintained, but the important information is contained in the README and in the self-explanatory INI file.
