What is Torni Chat?

Torni Chat is a community chat plugin for WordPress, developed by Tornigolla s.r.o. Chat data is stored on the website’s own WordPress installation.

The Free edition includes one public text room, member profiles, profile pictures, emoji, quoted replies, message reactions, and editing or deleting your own messages. Moderation tools include reporting, blocking, muting and banning.

The separate Pro edition adds multiple rooms, private conversations, images in messages, member-created rooms, message search, typing indicators, read status and custom branding. Pro requires service-key activation.

The chat and administration interfaces support English, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Russian, German and Polish. Interface languages can be selected independently. User messages are not automatically translated.

Free works without a purchase or activation key. Members sign in using WordPress accounts. Sound notifications depend on browser permissions and activity; locked-phone push notifications are not included.

The Free edition is available at no cost. Pro costs EUR 45 as a one-time purchase and includes 12 months of support and updates.
