As a NSFW Content Creator, requests to chat offsite become numerous but the choices may appear small with options such as Snapchat, Telegram and WhatsApp. These options can be useful if you already know the person as a friend, family or co-worker but as a form of communication with a person that you know absolutely nothing about or their intentions, these may not be the safest or secure options to protect your data or physically yourself. With the amount of information that can be obtained by these apps, its no telling what can be shared to others either consentually with your agreeance to Terms and Policy or non-consentually. Nothing is 100% secure proof but making well informed choices on what you utilize when interacting with consumers, fans or followers can make all the difference. To ensure a session is going to be private (1:1) or if you don't feel comfortable with a person being added as a friend or providing unnecessary information, I suggest disposable rooms or hosting your own chat/video room. Conference rooms that can be created as a one off won't save your data, accounts won't need to be created and no app downloaded or if you host your own room on your own server then you control all aspects of what features are allowed or not allowed to secure your space.
