What is TOFU Learn?

When learning a foreign language, TOFU Learn helps you memorize the vocabulary efficiently and effortlessly using advanced flashcards and the spaced repetition technique.

SPACED REPETITION SYSTEM
Repeated spaced recalling is the guaranteed way to memorize all those words you need and never lose the grasp on them.

Some words are easier, some are harder. TOFU Learn's adaptive algorithm will ask you to recall them just before you forgot them. The harder it was to recall, the better you will remember them next time.

WORD LIST AUTHORING TOOLS
You can use word lists published by other users, or create your own ones. Creating your own word list is as easy as pasting a list of words into a spreadsheet.

Just drop in the words in your target language. Our tools will help you with the rest, even fetch translations and pronunciations from Creative Commons sources for you, automatically.
If you are using Anki, you can easily switch to TOFU Learn by importing your decks.

BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
There are two competing approaches to electronic flashcards:

Automated tests where the system will give you a test to see if you remember a word, and
Manual flashcards where you flip the card and tell the system if you knew it or not.
