Generally tiny.cc is a good. Sometimes there might be, that you get warning "Domain not allowed. But you can Request a Whitelisting" and you cannot create a short link. Also that whitelisting fails due to "bad TLD". So I discovered, that I cannot use therefore tiny.cc service as it does not allow me to create a short link with link refers to school server. Very weird.
It's a relatively new URL shortener so you'll probably find a lot of custom words still free. But one big downside is that a lot of websites are blacklisted for absolutely no reason. So there'll be a lot of times when shortening a link won't be possible. I won't recommend it until they fix it.
