Spotify is a good replacement for Tidal if: 1) You aren't going to miss Tidal's Hi-Fi Music quality (which you could only stand to hear the difference using high end audio equipment); 2) Want better discovery and playlist sharing options; 3) Want to have a Linux-native client, rather than having to rely on a web browser if you use Linux.

High resolution audio, Hi-Fi, masters, FLAC, CD quality, do I have to explain more?

Tidal pays the most on the market to the artists according to several sources. Spotify is one of the worst, despite being slightly superior in almost every aspect.
