Needs to also be on firefox, this program is awesome
In June 2020, The Great Suspender was sold by it's original author/owner/maintainer to an unnamed third party, who has since added malware to it.
If you download the extension from it's github repository, using the last release before the sale, consider it a 5-star app. Possibly 4-star, but only because you want get any more updates from it.
If you have the latest version from the google chrome store, consider it a zero-star app.
A very poor choice by a good developer to sell this extension to a hacking group in 2020. Their efforts to use it to exfiltrate user keystrokes and credentials were detected by Google, resulting in a permanent ban and a net loss for all involved. Capitalism is the worst.
The developer's actions were wrong, not sure what this has to do with capitalism though. It is up to individuals and society to ensure ethical business practices.
