The Bat! protects your information through multiple encryption streams with the options to encrypt your emails on disk and during communication through an SSL/TLS connection. Free of global email providers that keep your messages in the cloud, and free of Web clients, The Bat! ensures your data stays private.
The Bat! mail client is able to process and store an unlimited number of messages and has no restriction on the number of email accounts you can use.
The internal PGP supports only older RSA keys with IDEA block cipher.

Working fine with my IMAP accounts so far. Rich in features (richer than MS Office Outlook 2016 or Thunderbird) and easy/intuitive to use.
Bought "The Bat" many years ago when I used POP3 and it was OK. But as soon as I switched to IMAP I had to delete The Bat. For more than 30 bucks one can expect at least a working IMAP client but well.. probably not.
How is this email client praised for its speed if there is no indexable search for messages and attachments?🤷
The best mail client. But hasn't Linux version.
