Teserra is a visual library for the Mac. It saves what you collect, images, RAW photos, video, fonts, screenshots, links and articles, into ordinary folders on your disk. Next to each file, a small text file holds its title, tags and source. Delete the app and you keep everything, still organized.
Find anything by describing it: type "a statue in a beam of light" and the picture comes up. The search model runs on your Mac, with no account and no API key. Find Similar starts from one image and brings up its visual siblings.
Option-click any image or video in your browser to save it with the page it came from (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Arc, Brave, Edge, Dia, Opera, Vivaldi). Fonts show as specimens you can install or uninstall. RAW files get previews and EXIF.
A local MCP server lets AI agents like Claude Code or Cursor browse and tag your library, with every change undoable.
Coming from Eagle? Teserra imports your Eagle library: folders, tags and notes come across.
