What is Terento?
Terento is a free, open-source macOS app for installing and managing maps on compatible Garmin smartwatches. Connect your watch, choose the regions you want, preview storage usage, and install maps without manually moving files or dealing with MTP tools. Terento keeps track of the maps it installs so they can be backed up or safely removed later while existing Garmin maps are left unchanged. The current beta supports Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 13+ and currently uses Freizeitkarte maps.
