It supports etesync as synchronization service. People who don't want to depend on a own CardDAV server or don't want to manage a own Nextcloud instance can use etesync in combination with Tasks to have tasks synchronized End-to-End encrypted to the cloud.
It is quite amazing. Wish they also had a Linux app though
Very customizable, competes with todoist but is open source.
My favorite Android tasks app, syncs with many types of servers and works great offline as well!

Best task managing app I know for Android.
Tasks by Alex Baker supports Android, but I would prefer a task list app which supported macOS or web.
