When Twitter reached its height of popularity a couple of years ago, I began Tweeting via twitter.com. Then came TweetDeck, followed by the Twitter app on my smart phone. Trouble was - I had to stop what I was doing in order to engage Twitter.
TapSocial is the first unobtrusive Twitter app that I have used. I can keep my MS Office suite up and running, while TapSocial runs beneath it. I've even used it during presentations to stream #hashtag mentions right on my projector screen.
So, if you want to keep an eye on Tweets, reply to tweets, retweet, follow specific hashtags or lists - all while still doing your day job - then TapSocial is perfect for you.
