It still is great with Twitter (though throwing an “unknown error” pane with no visual consequences), Flickr and RSS. But since the integration of Facebook was the point why I bought Socialite, it's gotten mostly useless.
In fact, I was hoping to get Xing, LinkedIn etc. integrated as well!
Apparent Software discontinued this App (suggesting HootSuite instead), and it looks like they also did not make it open source, too — so I am now looking for something else, hopefully even better...!
Kind Regards, Felix
Felix,
Did you ever find a reasonable replacement for Socialite? I loved the app, and I don't find Hootsuite and its ilk to even be the same sort of application as Socialite, and so I'm kind of confused at their continued recommendation here. Thoughts? :)
