I've been using it for years to sync my photos between my discs and NAS Works perfectly with Windows 10 64b I have complete confidence
Outdated. Glitchy install requiring hunt-and-find .Net Framework 3.5. It still wouldn't install. I was going to do a comparison with Compare Advance, which is my favored folder comparison program at this time.
Tools Carbonite and GsRichopy360 are more compatible, robust, and rich features than SyncToy
At the third time that I had to do manually something that the software says it is automatically done it is me who is done with the software.
SyncToy will not copy a file more than once. If a file is deleted at the destination folder for whatever reason, it will not be replaced. This software is garbage. You've been warned. I recommend FreeFileSync, but watch out for the toolbar adware.
Wasn't looking for anything complex when syncing web site files between my local copy and the server. SyncToy simply did the trick with very little hastle. If only every Microsoft product worked in such a normal way.
