Swebsy is a browser-based visual website builder for landing pages, portfolios, menus and other small static sites. It runs locally in the browser with no account required: projects are stored in the browser, and the finished site is exported as plain HTML, CSS, JS and assets that can be hosted anywhere.
Users start from a template or a blank page and edit visually with responsive blocks. Sites can be downloaded as a .zip, backed up as an editable project file, or published directly to GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages with a custom domain.
Swebsy also includes an MCP bridge (@swebsy/mcp) that lets AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and Copilot build and edit pages in the live editor over a local connection. The user keeps full visual control, and there are no per-token AI fees because the agent is the user's own.
Key features:
- Visual drag-and-edit builder with templates and blocks
- Clean static HTML/CSS/JS export with no lock-in
- Full project export and import
- One-click publishing to GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages
- Responsive by default, lightweight pages with minified output
- SEO meta tags built in
- AI agent integration via a local MCP bridge
The builder, templates, export and self-publishing are free with no expiry. Optional paid plans add Swebsy hosting, cloud sync with version history, form submissions and badge removal.
