Summ-it information
What is Summ-it?
Summ-it is a read-it-later app built for listening. Instead of a pile of tabs and unread articles you never get back to, Summ-it turns everything you save into an audio playlist you can play hands-free - on a walk, a commute, or while doing the dishes. Listen to the full article or a concise AI summary, in your own language, narrated with natural voices. Save from anywhere: share a link or text from any app, use the Chrome, Firefox, or Safari extension, snap a printed URL with the camera, or forward a newsletter straight to your Summ-it inbox. Summ-it handles articles, YouTube videos, newsletters, PDFs, Word and text documents, and raw pasted text - then cleans it up and narrates it. Credits are never charged when extraction fails.
Listening is podcast-style: a continuous queue with auto-advance, adjustable speed, rewind and skip, background and offline playback, and lock-screen, CarPlay, and Android Auto controls. Switch any item between summary and full read at any time. Two features go beyond a normal read-later app: Recap folds a pile-up of saved reading into one short audio catch-up, and Ask Summit answers questions using only your own saved library. Smart Lists and playlists organize everything automatically or by your own rules, and Discoveries surfaces the links found inside what you save.
Summ-it is free forever with a basic on-device voice. Pro and Premium add natural AI voices, translation into multiple languages, Ask Summit, Discoveries, and item sharing. Available on iPhone, iPad, Android, the web, and as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
