If are you looking for KeePass-like apps, where nobody else except you will know password, but you don't have enough time for KeePass configuration and understanding how it works, you just wish to install one app, and everything should work fine out the box, then Sticky Password is your best friend. No jokes guys. You can't trust to random guy from internet, but just try.
I'm have have around 700+ different internet accounts in my password storage, and i have tried a lot of password managers. The last one were lastpass, which stopped to work fine for me, that's why i have start to search for Lastpass alternative, and i found Sticky Password.
My requirements were very simple:
And what i want to say? After jumping over Dashline, 1Password, RoboForm, i have found Sticky Password. These guys do not talk to much, these guys just doing too much! Try it, and you will get what i mean.
For example what i love in Sticky Password:
Just pure facts, decide by yourself:
The most interesting part, it's about their business model. This is a private company with a closed source, which will force you to think to start from here.
Think several times before using the product.
Actually I haven't even used this password manager. But in researching secure browser's for Android ran across AVG secure browser and after reading and researching everything I could find out for item, ran across multiple confirmed items about AVG products/business. Which is the Same team for sticky pass password manager. And even though AVG is upfront about the issue of collection of user's information to their partners AND to 3rd party "Leeches", it's Still not a secure and private practice, specially for the consumer.( So instead of AVG team selling your info as they normally would, when you buy their "Premium"plans your Paying them for sharing your personal information to the highest bidder.(about the same as instead of accidentally being kicked in the private area. You Pay to be kicked in the private area.)🤨
After a year of using this shit, I want to change my review. The old one you can find below this one.
About performance:
I can't trust this company, I can't verify anything, I do not understand the business model and in what they have profit instead of selling user credentials and access to some 3rd party partners what they have.
Do not recommend.
Initially, I thought it was pure brilliance so I upgraded from the free version to the Premium, and as I became increasingly familiar I discovered some features that put me off totally. Synchronisation seemed to be inaccurate, giving after synchronisation different passwords for the same user account. So much so that I stopped using it, not sure if my request for a refund has been processed, anyhow I have now been downgraded from the Premium to the free version. I don't know if the free version would lead to the same errors on my system. I am assuming perhaps wrongly that it would lead to a similar no-brainer
I was truly disappointed it did not work out for me, I had earlier used Roboform but never liked it. and have downloaded a few others, but we didn't get along too well.
I need a solution quite quickly, but it takes time to check things out properly, And that is something I don't have much of at the moment, not just because of my great age, the main reason being I decided to change my broadband supplier, which turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. I have been quite productive unfortunately in this area.
To the point I am on the hunt for something that will accurately work across different devices, portable and desktop, has accurate synchronisation via local wifi, and the truly magnificent simplicty of SP. Of course, it doesn't exist, or does it?
Any suggestions from users would be more than highly appreciated. Brian
PS Congratulations to the developers of this site, really good idea, getting better alternatives, will see later what comes up for Facebook - we are almost sworn enemies now, me and FB.
