Apps similar to Stealward include Rex. Other options are Unplug Alarm. Between them they cover Mac, Android, iPhone and iPad.
Rex protects your MacBook from theft. It knows if you're packing up and disarms itself. Re-arms when you next open your MacBook. Sends real push notifications. Doesn't fail if you forget your headphones plugged in.
If unplugged or closed, triggers a loud siren, works even when muted, captures a photo, and sends push notifications and images to your mobile device via subscription, protecting your MacBook with selectable settings, trial, and both purchase options.
