Steady Increment

Steady Increment is a workout tracker for lifting and gym cardio that works out your next set for you. It looks at what you did last time and recommends the weight and reps for this set, and it only ever recommends a weight your equipment can make: your bar, the plates your gym actually has, and each machine's smallest jump, which it learns from your own log.

Every feature is free. There are no ads, no subscription and no account needed. Everything is stored on your phone and works with no signal.

What it does:

• Recommends the next set with double progression, linear weight or linear reps
• Notices when a lift stalls and says which fix applies: deload, change the rep range, or swap the movement
• Adjusts the day's loads after a short check-in on sleep, soreness, stress and energy
• Suggests a comparable exercise when a machine is taken, using only equipment your gym has
• Builds warm-up sets and drop sets on weights that exist
• Logs treadmill, bike, rower, stair and elliptical sessions with their own progression
• 17 ready-made programs, 1,166 exercises (most with a looping demo clip), strength standards and reports
• Multiple gyms, each with its own equipment and increments
• Couple mode to see a partner's sessions without mixing them into yours
• Imports history from Hevy, Strong and Alpha Progression, and exports everything as CSV and JSON
