It looks like Sound search has been incorporated into the Google app, even though it shows up as a separate application. (Samsung Galaxy, Android 9)
Seems to be very good at recognizing music.
pretty sure its been abandoned with no updates to run on later versions of android than marshmallow
Has this app been discontinued? It used to be quite good, and found me a few song identifications that all of Shazam, SoundHound, and TrackID failed at. However, since upgrading to from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to 7.0 Nougat (I'm on a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact) and then doing a factory reset, the app is nowhere to be found, and I can't find it separately in the Google Play Store either.
