Sorted Receipts

Sorted Receipts is a document collection, sorting, and chasing tool built for bookkeeping practices. It works alongside capture tools such as Hubdoc, Dext, AutoEntry and Xero's built-in capture rather than replacing any of them: capture tools read what a client sends, and Sorted Receipts works out what the client never sent.

The bookkeeper drops in a transactions export, meaning a QuickBooks or Xero export or any bank CSV, with columns mapped automatically and no bank or accounting-software connection required. Rows that never need a receipt, such as payroll, tax, transfers and bank fees, are set aside with visible reasons, so only the real gaps become the chase list.

Each client gets a private upload link with no account, app, or password. Uploaded receipts and statements are automatically read and filed by month, vendor, and type, with the amount extracted and the original one click away. Anything uncertain goes to a review pile instead of straight into your books.

Reminders for the missing documents send under the bookkeeper's own name, from their own address, escalating from friendly to firm until their cutoff, and the bookkeeper can approve every send. Month-end exports to a CSV plus a ZIP of originals renamed to date_vendor_amount, compatible with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Xero.

Pricing is one flat price of $8 per month per practice, with unlimited clients (fair use) and unlimited documents. No per-client fees, no per-user fees, no credits, no metering. Annual billing gives two months free.

Sorted Receipts is deliberately not a practice-management suite, and not a capture or extraction pipe into Xero or QuickBooks Online. It focuses only on client documents: collection, sorting, chasing, and export.
