What is SommelierX?
SommelierX calculates the right wine for your meal — from taste, not from reviews or ratings.
It is the new generation of WineStein, a wine-pairing system built over 17 years with scientists and professional sommeliers; its self-learning core was developed with scientists from a Radboud University Nijmegen spin-off. In its historical WineStein context the system calculated more than 8 million pairings, reached more than 500,000 users and was deployed in 400+ stores and restaurants.
The engine compares 19 wine dimensions with 17 dish dimensions and shows the reason a match works. Guest, Free and Premium users see the same complete Wine DNA and Dish DNA — Premium removes daily usage limits, it does not buy a better answer or unlock hidden reasoning.

- describe or photograph any dish
- build a dish from ingredients
- search a wine or scan its label
- reverse the pairing: start with the bottle and find the food
