Skiff Mail is dead now. from their email: "As we begin to shift focus to our shared efforts with Notion, we will be closing down Skiff's product suite after a 6-month sunset period We are deeply appreciative of the trust users have extended to us, and we are committed to honoring that trust by ensuring that all data on Skiff is easily exportable. For the next 6 months, Skiff services will continue to operate without disruption, and users can freely duplicate, migrate, or export data. You can now also set up a forwarding address to redirect mail to any other provider."
Skiff has a very clean feel to it, but at the moment it is still very much under development. Some basic things like word count, or middle-clicking on documents to open in a new tab are underway but not available.
And of course, the main thing is encryption. You can share documents for others to read without any hassle though. They won't be able to edit it if they don't have an account (which is to be expected).
Also, some features seem to come and go every now and again, I assume because of bugs. E.g. changing fonts isn't an option anymore.
It facilitates transferring documents from Google Drive to Skiff if you want.
The devs are active on the Skiff Discord if you want to talk to them.
