What is Simple File Converter?

Simple File Converter is a free, open-source desktop app for converting PDFs and images to JPG or PNG. It runs entirely offline — files never leave your computer, so there are no file size limits, no uploads, and no subscriptions.

Drop files in, pick your settings, and convert. Supports batch conversion of mixed queues, PDF page selection (e.g. pages 1-3 or 1,3,5), adjustable DPI for PDF output, resize/crop/fit options, quality control, and the choice to strip or preserve EXIF metadata.

The Windows build is a single portable executable: download it, double-click, done. Mac and Linux users can run it from source (Python + PyQt6).
