Kubernetes sandboxes create isolated environments for each change by deploying only modified services and routing other requests to shared cluster dependencies. They support pull-request previews, end-to-end and integration tests, local code, resource isolation, and coding-agent workflows.

What is Signadot?

Signadot is a software tool that creates isolated environments for each code change in a Kubernetes cluster. It only deploys altered services and uses request routing to direct test traffic towards them, sharing the remaining components with a baseline environment. Signadot's sandboxes can be operational in seconds and a single cluster can run hundreds of these simultaneously.

Teams use Signadot to create preview environments for pull requests, execute end-to-end and integration tests with tools like Playwright, Cypress, k6, and others before merging, and for local development. The Command Line Interface (CLI) links your machine's code to cluster services. An MCP server allows coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor to create sandboxes and test their changes.

Signadot also isolates databases, message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Pub/Sub, NATS, and cloud resources using plugins. It functions as an operator within your cluster with a hosted control plane, ensuring code and data stay within your infrastructure. A free tier is also available.
