What is ShotScreen Pro?

A macOS screenshot app.

The main thing is the floating thumbnail that appears after you take a screenshot. You can adjust for how long it's there or you decide when you close the thumbnail. Drag it to one of the action zones that appear (rename, copy, extract text, etc). No need to save first or navigate through folders. You decide what to do with your screenshot - the app just makes it easier.
