What is Shotomatic?
Shotomatic is a Mac app for recording a desktop task as an editable screenshot guide. Action Capture saves the target screen immediately before each accepted click, marks the action, and adds the step to a document. You can reorder pages, add titles and annotations, and export the finished guide as a PDF or images. Capturing and editing stay on the Mac.
The Free plan supports five Action Capture steps per session, including editing and export. Pro removes the step limit and adds Blur, extra Click Markers, and Step Numbers. Shotomatic is not a hosted knowledge base and does not automatically write the complete procedure. Action labels depend on accessibility information supplied by the target app.
