What is Shinobi.pdf?

Shinobi.pdf is a free and open-source desktop app for Windows that splits, merges and converts PDF files entirely offline. Your files never leave your computer: no accounts, no ads and no uploads. Split PDFs by chapters (detected automatically from bookmarks), every N pages, page ranges, maximum file size or by text, for example one file per invoice, named after a line of that page. Color-coded thumbnails show which pages go into each file, and you can rotate or exclude pages before exporting. It can also merge PDFs in any order, export pages to PNG or JPG images and batch-process many files at once. Available in English and Spanish, with light and dark mode and a right-click option in File Explorer. A portable version is also available.
