What is Sevoflurane?

Sevoflurane runs the Windows Steam client through Wine and presents its library, store, chats, and notifications in macOS windows. It can use the bundled Dormison Wine engine or an existing CrossOver bottle.

With Dormison, supported fixed-resolution games can be freely resized or shown full screen, with Lanczos, MetalFX, and optional neural upscaling. Sevoflurane also provides per-game graphics settings, a live frame rate graph, and saved run statistics for comparison. The menu bar launcher gives quick access to games and settings. Windows apps outside Steam can be launched too.

Free and open source under the MIT license. Public beta for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later.
