Sendaway is a browser-based file transfer service designed around a simple code-based workflow.
Drop a file or paste text, receive a 6-digit pickup code, then enter that code on another device to retrieve the transfer. No account, email address, or shared download link is required.
Cloud transfers are end-to-end encrypted. Files are encrypted in the sender’s browser before upload, so the storage layer only receives ciphertext. Encryption key release is handled separately through a confidential-compute vault after the receiver passes the transfer’s access checks.
Sendaway also supports direct Local Transfer between devices over WebRTC, allowing compatible transfers to move directly between devices without uploading the file to cloud storage.
Unlike many file-transfer services that feel purely functional or corporate, Sendaway is designed to feel more community-oriented and user-friendly, with a playful interface, simple interactions, and a stronger focus on making the transfer experience feel approachable rather than technical.
