Comments and Reviews
I like SellApp because it's, by far, the best and most modern platform out there.
I've tried Gumroad, Sellfy, Rocketr, Sellix, Shopify, Shoppy and you name it. All of them have shortcomings of some sort, while SellApp is ahead by a mile already.
Huge thumbs up to their support staff too. It takes less than an hour to get my questions answered
I recently had a highly disappointing experience with SellApp, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from falling victim to their deceitful practices. Unfortunately, I lost over $400 due to a scam facilitated through their platform.
After discovering the fraudulent activity, I promptly contacted the report team on Thursday, 12/14/2023, seeking assistance and resolution. Shockingly, I have yet to receive any response from their support team, leaving me frustrated and helpless.
In a desperate attempt to address the issue, I reached out to the owner through Telegram. Instead of providing the assistance I desperately needed, the owner dismissed me as a "spammer" and callously ignored my requests. To make matters worse, he claimed that the situation was "being looked into," although it was evident that no real action was being taken.
To add insult to injury, the owner went so far as to block me and remove me from his Telegram, displaying a level of unprofessionalism that is simply unacceptable. As a customer who has been scammed on their platform, I expected a higher level of responsibility and accountability from SellApp.
What's even more concerning is that SellApp's Acceptable Use Policy explicitly prohibits the use or distribution of game cheats, among other things. Yet, their platform is rife with such content, showcasing a clear violation of their own policies. This inconsistency raises serious doubts about the integrity and legitimacy of their services.
My experience with SellApp has been nothing short of a nightmare, and their lack of response, unprofessional behavior, and violation of their own policies only exacerbate the situation. I strongly advise potential users to exercise extreme caution when considering SellApp for any transactions, as their negligence and disregard for their customers' well-being are inexcusable.
I believe that Sell.app is rather robust and good. You just sign up and you are instantly ready to start selling, with at least one payment method of course. Generally, I would absolutely use it for the long run.
Sellix is an abhorrent website which intentionally allowed fraud and violated the privacy of a paid customer, myself.
I reported a merchant selling stolen accounts on SellApp and sellapp knowingly allowed the merchant to remain on SellApp despite their AUP claiming people breaking the law will be banned. SellApp then violated my privacy by revealing my information to the merchant without consent which led to harassment from the merchant.
The merchant is still selling stolen accounts at this moment. No repercussions from SellApp whatsoever. I've also witnessed other paid customers report merchants and they too were dismissed and blacklisted from SellApp for sharing criticism.
Many website developers with moderate experience would say that the website is not programmed well. They explain pagination on their API documentation as changing the number of results in the response. This is not at all pagination. I've witnessed a litany of complaints from my customers and other SellApp merchants for the frequent downtime and bug occurrences on the platform.
You can see what I've witnessed by searching "SellApp exposed" on YouTube. I suggest that you don't settle for SellApp and research further. The SellApp owner has blacklisted many people for sharing criticism of him. Those people were left with no access to their customer's orders and their inventory which they paid to house in SellApp. Very sad behavior.
Best platform there is
Sell.app is the best alternative to sellix.io shoppy.gg selly.io gumroad.com sellfy.com
It is free to start using and offers more features that look and function better than others.
Better than the competitors and even cheaper. Clear winner in this category!
