How to use SeedVault?
Three Steps:
- Get LineageOS for free at https://lineageos.org
- Open up "Settings". Scroll to "System". Around the bottom, search for your Seedvault backup options.
- Watch this present short 2 minutes video to learn how to use Seedvault. Alternatively find the documentation on this "System" page above.
The fully free LineageOS version 17.1 comes with SeedVault installed by default. For developers, read more at https://github.com/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Seedvault
What makes SeedVault different?
This application is compiled with the operating system and does not require a rooted device for use. It uses the same internal APIs as adb backup which is deprecated and thus needs a replacement.

3rd thinks Neo Backup is an alternative to Seedvault
- 3rd reviewed Seedvault3rNo, tried and gave up after first screen. So I tried again and did go beyond the mnemonics... Alas, still not a happy camper. Why two stars? + one (can't be less) + one for the effort - the first screen with 12 mnemonics - couldn't find any proper documentation or instructions (unless you want a wiki for compiling) - the functions are very limited (and cumbersome, I am afraid)

Offers a variety functions as expected, not just on/off... and without those moronic mnemonics :D
