In Norway there are very privacy unfriendly laws. For example, in 2020 Norway introduced “etterretningstjenesteloven“ (https://lovdata.no/dokument/LTI/lov/2020-06-19-77/) which allows the intelligence service to do mass surveillance of all data that crosses Norway’s borders. As well, Norway is a part of Nine Eyes (https://restoreprivacy.com/5-eyes-9-eyes-14-eyes/). Hence, I would not trust any service or company located in Norway with my data.
