Retasc

Hosted dependency-aware queue for AI coding agents. Through MCP, it assigns unblocked issues and uses server-side fenced leases to prevent duplicate claims; expired leases return work with checkpoints. It adds batch dispatch, review workflows, issue sync and worktrees

What is Retasc?

Retasc is a hosted, dependency-aware issue queue for AI coding agents. Agents connect through MCP and request work from the shared queue; the service selects an unblocked issue and creates a server-side lease for it. Leases use fencing so that two agents cannot hold the same issue, and expired leases return work to the queue with its recorded checkpoint.

Issues can declare dependencies, which determine whether they are eligible for dispatch. Retasc also supports batch dispatch of independent issues, priority inheritance for blocking work, review workflows, and synchronization with GitHub and GitLab issues. Its CLI can configure supported coding-agent clients and create Git worktrees for claimed issues.

The service is accessed through a web dashboard and a hosted MCP endpoint. Billing is based on metered actions rather than seats; accounts receive US$10 in signup credit and can top up their balance when more usage is needed.
