TestDisk vs Recuva Comments
It's focused on recovery partition. In the case of you have to recover folders or files, is not really helpfull
It can recover FILES. When you select your partition press P for list files option. It will show you all your files and folders. Then you can browse your files and select the folder you want to recover. For example your Users folder. Press C to copy selected files to another location. Yes the user interface is not super beginer friendly but it can recovery your files. It also recover file names and folder structure.
