What is Recordable?

Recordable creates step-by-step guides from recorded tasks. It records in the browser through a Chrome or Edge extension, or in desktop applications through its Windows and Mac app, and drafts instructions with a screenshot for each step.

Before a new recording is uploaded, the author can check the screenshots, blur sensitive details and remove steps. The author then edits the generated guide and shares it by link.

Guides can be used in three ways:

Read: shared guides can be read for free, without an account. Follow Along: for browser workflows, the instructions appear next to the task and the next action is highlighted. Requires an account and the browser extension. Supervised AI run: the desktop app can use a recorded workflow as the basis for an AI run, with the user reviewing the plan and the result.

Paid plans add reader feedback on unclear or outdated steps, exports to PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Markdown, and guide translation. The interface is available in English, French and Dutch. A free plan is available; Follow Along for viewers is a paid add-on.
