RawCut: AI Video Editor & Clips is an iPhone app that turns the clips already in your camera roll into a finished vertical video for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. You don't edit on a timeline. You write a short script, one line per moment, and RawCut finds the matching seconds in your own footage and cuts them together in 9:16.
Unlike template editors such as CapCut or InShot, RawCut does not ask you to pick and trim the clips yourself. It reads each clip (what is in the frame and what is said in it), matches every line of the script to the best moment, and builds the cut in order. It uses only your own footage: no stock video and no AI-generated images.
How it works
- Add clips from your camera roll.
- Write a script, or a one-line idea that RawCut turns into a script.
- Tap Create. Each line gets the clip and the seconds that match it.
- Review the cut, swap any shot for another one, adjust captions, and export or share.
Video formats
Before & after, Product showcase, A day at the shop, Walkthrough, Talking to camera, Day in the life and Highlights. Each format has its own shot order and pacing. For talking-to-camera videos, RawCut keeps whole spoken sentences instead of cutting people off mid-sentence.
