Comments and Reviews
Clean, lightweight and portable.
A most useful program, even in 2024. Use it as your application toolbox, instead of putting so many shortcuts to your desktop, cluttering the view - or trying to sort out your Start menu. Especially true for Windows 8+, where the start menus are all mutilated anyway. PStart makes it extremely easy to organize your programs into one place, all available at the press of a hotkey. Also, the note-taking function is implemented nicely, I suggest giving it a try. It even has a basic notification feature.
Hence the less cluttered quality that PStart provides. I can do without auto start, auto update and backup just fine. I use different lightweight solutions for backup, and can auto start PStart with task scheduler easily enough. Some of us prefer lightweight apps to get the job done, not bulky swiss army knife type of solutions.
Free, easy to use, lightweight but lack of features such as auto update, auto start, close all app on exit
Less cluttered, and more flexible than PortableApps
but lacking some feature such as auto start apps, auto update, backup, and many more

This is lightweight and does the works. Intuitive interface. This program is a little wonder.
