I use it every day with a UBC780XLT.
It's perfect for programming the scanner, you can import frequencies and, best of all, you can upload those straight to the scanner without having to switch it off.
You can control the scanner directly from the software too, and it logs channels the scanner stops on in both scan and search modes - perfect for finding new frequencies.
