PrivaLog is a private daily diary. You write on iPhone, iPad, Mac or in the browser, and your entries sync between them. It has no streaks, no badges and no reminders
that push you to write.
Your entries are encrypted on your device before they leave it. Your diary passphrase is turned into a key on the device itself, and that key never goes to the
server. The server stores only the encrypted entries and a wrapped (encrypted) copy of the key. The developer cannot read your diary and cannot recover your
passphrase if you lose it. A few things are stored unencrypted so sync can work: the date of each entry, when it was created or changed, and technical
identifiers.
PrivaLog deliberately leaves things out. There are no AI features, no photos and no social sharing. On iPhone and iPad you can write offline; entries sync when
you are back online. You can export your diary as PDF, Markdown or JSON, or keep a locked backup.
PrivaLog is free to use locally on iPhone and iPad. Cloud sync comes with Pro, and every new account gets 14 days of Pro for free. The trial ends on its own;
nothing is charged. After that, Pro costs €2.99 per month or €24.99 per year and adds encrypted cloud backup and sync across your devices, and writing on the
web. Without Pro, entries that have already synced stay readable on the web.
