What is Pragma Chess?

Pragma Chess keeps your games in databases (PGN, lichess.org and chess.com import, ChessBase files) and lets you study them with Stockfish or any UCI engine.

Its Explain feature shows on the board why the last move is good or bad: red arrows where material falls, blue arrows for the reply that makes the difference, a forced mate played out.

Train against the engine, which plays from an opening book whose weights you tune, with a tutor that stops you on mistakes. Play on lichess.org from the same board, with the engine off.

Variations and annotations, Polyglot opening books with your repertoire, sync between computers via FTP, WebDAV or Git. English and Italian. MIT licensed, for Windows, macOS and Linux.
