Polycode: Multi-Model AI

Polycode is a native macOS chat client for developers who use more than one AI model. It sends every prompt to each provider you configure, in parallel. A primary model reads every reply and writes one answer.

Polycode works with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex, and OpenRouter. Apple Intelligence, Ollama, and LM Studio run on your Mac with no network.

The inspector shows where the models disagree. It lists each split point, the claim, and the providers on each side. You can adopt the reply of any one provider as the answer. A mode sets which models sit on the panel. It can give one member a Critic role and add a debate round. Every exchange records status, latency, tokens, and dollar cost for each provider.

MCP servers attach as tools, and each tool has an approval setting: Always, Ask, or Deny. Nine file tools work only inside the project folders you grant. Your API keys stay in the macOS Keychain. Polycode calls each provider directly, with no proxy. Conversations stay in a local SQLite store that Spotlight can search.

Polycode is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store, with no subscription. You pay each provider for your own API use.
