PolarisFlux is a desktop visual website builder for Mac and Windows. Same idea people have trusted in RapidWeaver Classic for twenty years: design on your computer, publish real HTML you own, upload it to a host you choose. No monthly site rent.

RapidWeaver Classic is a serious Mac app — themes, automatic navigation, device preview, built-in FTP, plus extra themes, plugins, and Stacks. If you already live there, it still works.

PolarisFlux is that idea without the Mac-only ceiling, without a subscription, and with the design tools inside the app instead of a twenty-year addon aisle.

Mac and Windows. RapidWeaver Classic is Mac-only. If your shop, your partner, or your next machine is Windows, Classic is a closed door. PolarisFlux is the same product on both platforms.

You own the site. Pick a finished theme. Build pages by dropping Sectors — headings, text, images, galleries, carousels, video, audio, buttons, columns and Flux quadrants, tabs, accordion, storyboard panels, page overlays, HTML embeds, dividers, quotes. Preview phone, tablet, and desktop. Export a clean static site or publish over FTP/SFTP. The files leave with you.

Pay once. No subscription. Not RapidWeaver Elements’ yearly update plan. Not Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, or Framer charging rent on a look. Solo, Team, or Fleet: you buy the app and the themes you own. Updates to those themes are free.

More design range than classic RapidWeaver. Classic often needs Stacks, plugins, and a shopping list to finish a modern page. PolarisFlux ships the full editor and every Sector type in every plan. Theme Styles restyles color, type, motion, and day/night from one panel. Width Controllers keep compositions inset. Media Overlay pins video or an image while the page scrolls. Storyboard pins full-screen panels. Tabs and accordion are built in.

TextStyleFlux is included. Warp headlines. Mask video or photos inside letters and shapes — work most builders cannot do, including RapidWeaver, Blocs, Sparkle, Pinegrow, and Mobirise. Make the piece, send it back to the page. TextStyleFlux Pro is optional for standalone SVG, PDF, and DXF.

Themes are not skins. Each one is a finished look with real navigation and a mobile menu: restaurant, newsroom, festival, corporate, comic, portfolio, kids, mystery, retro-future. Blank Canvas ships with every plan. Team and Fleet add the catalog. Navigation is theme-owned on purpose — the professional spine while you build the content.

Who built it. Dave Cantu. He started the commercial RapidWeaver theme market — RapidWeaverThemes.com — in 2004, when the theme aisle did not exist. Macworld wrote about that business the same year. Everybody else followed. PolarisFlux is that education twenty years later: not Mac-only, not a subscription, not a rented website.
