What is PLC Simulator?

PLC Simulator is an online PLC programming simulator and industrial automation training platform that runs entirely in a browser. Write Ladder Logic or IEC 61131-3 Structured Text, press Run, and watch the PLC scan cycle drive animated machines in real time. Automated tests show whether the logic passes and identify the failed step.

It includes 40 physics-backed PLC scenarios, 18 structured lessons, eight vendor dialects (IEC, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta, Keyence and Panasonic), 29 wiring labs, 19 fault-finding exercises, a drag-and-drop HMI builder, and robot programming with URScript, ABB RAPID, KUKA KRL and FANUC TP.

For 3D automation training, learners can run guided robot and factory scenarios or build custom PLC-driven layouts from a searchable library of 143 reusable components, including conveyors, sensors, drives, safety devices and robot tooling.

The free tier needs no credit card. Basic and Pro add more scenarios, vendor dialects, certificates, interview preparation and the 3D Sandbox. Team plans support colleges and engineering firms with member management, assigned learning paths and cohort progress reports.

PLC Simulator is designed for students, maintenance technicians, controls engineers, educators and company training teams who need hands-on PLC practice without hardware benches, Windows-only vendor software or physical robots.
