What is Plagx Research Kit?

Plagx Research Kit is a free, open-source notebook for students and researchers. You log each source as you read it, and the notebook turns the log into an APA 7 or MLA 9 reference list with in-text citations. It flags duplicate sources and missing details such as the year, and lists citations in a draft that are missing from the reference list.

It also provides downloadable templates: a source log, literature matrix, annotated bibliography and research plan, plus CSL-JSON and BibTeX export for Zotero, Mendeley or LaTeX. It runs in Google Colab with no installation, and citations are formatted with the MIT-licensed plagx-cite Python package.

Made by Plagiarism Checker X. It does not check for plagiarism or detect AI-generated text.
